Background

The Department of Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering is one of the new departments opened under the College of Engineering and Technology in 2014 E.C. to produce qualified and competent water resources engineering manpower in the country. It started its teaching and learning activities with 6 lecturers and 1 senior technical assistant. It admitted 20 students for the first time in 2015, and currently there are two batches of students. In addition to its teaching and learning activities, since 2015 it has been focusing on research, community service, and technology transfer that solves the problems of society.

Vision

• To produce qualified citizens in quality and quantity who will contribute to the achievement of the country's water and irrigation development goals, and to create a human wind that will stabilize society through research and community service.

Mission

• To contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the national and international community by providing quality teaching and learning and conducting research and community service activities at a high level.

Objectives

Quality education and training supported by science and appropriate technology and led by competent leadership, providing education to all in an equitable manner, developing the individual's mental, physical, social, emotional and positive values, producing globally competitive graduates who respond to the current conditions of our country, conducting research that solves problems, transferring technologies, and providing community services based on the needs of the community.
