Education plays a key role in a country’s socio-economic, political, and psycho-cultural development by shaping competent, informed, and responsible citizens. The national roadmap task force has reviewed the education system's performance, identifying gaps and expectations from stakeholders, and assessed the sufficiency of policies to align with the goal of becoming a middle-income country.
The education policy should focus on holistic development, producing confident, competent citizens who are critical thinkers, ethical, and able to meet global market demands. The curriculum should promote values like liberty, efficiency, equity, and excellence, which often compete for priority but should be integrated to produce well-rounded graduates.
