Dear Students and Faculty,
As the Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH), I am honored to lead an institution committed to academic excellence, groundbreaking research, and meaningful community engagement. Our college continues to thrive as a hub of innovation, critical thinking, and transformative learning. We take immense pride in our diverse and dynamic community, where knowledge is not only acquired but actively applied to address real-world challenges.
The recent establishment of the Salale University Research and Culture Center and the Salale Journal of Social and Indigenous Studies underscores our unwavering dedication to advancing research and community service, particularly in the field of Culture and Indigenous knowledge. These initiatives highlight the academic vibrancy and commitment to scholarly excellence that define CSSH.
With a highly qualified and experienced faculty, CSSH is eager to expand its role in conducting problem-solving research, providing impactful community services, and facilitating technology transfer to support national development. Achieving these goals requires forging strong partnerships with stakeholders at regional and national levels.
Since its establishment in 2018 CSSH has successfully completed approximately 95 research projects, reflecting its dedication to scholarly inquiry and practical solutions. Additionally, our faculty members have contributed 46 publications in reputable journals, further strengthening the college’s academic reputation and research impact.
As an institution with immense potential, CSSH seeks to collaborate with various stakeholders to tackle pressing societal challenges through research, community service, and consultancy. Our highly skilled and dedicated scholars are ready to expand their engagement in societal and national development. Therefore, we invite all stakeholders to partner with us in our key focus areas, which include: Culture and Tourism, Indigenous knowledge, Education, Women and Children, Governance and Leadership, Environment and Sustainable Development and Global Issues.
We warmly welcome all stakeholders, organizations, and academic collaborators who are interested in working with us in these critical areas. By joining forces, we can contribute meaningfully to research, policy development, and community-driven solutions that enhance societal well-being and foster national progress.
Together, let us drive impactful change and build a better future.
