Our ICT team is organized into four specialized units:

• Computer Maintenance Team: Responsible for maintaining and servicing computers, printers, LCDs, and other electronic devices across campus.
• Network Team: Dedicated to overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of our campus-wide network systems.
• Software Programming Team: Focused on developing software solutions for the university and the surrounding community.
• System Administration Team: Tasked with monitoring the functionality of developed systems to ensure they perform as expected.

Background of ICT Executive

The ICT Office was established alongside the founding of the University and plays a pivotal role in the institution's operations. Currently, the office is staffed by 24 dedicated professionals, all working together to ensure that technology is seamlessly integrated into various aspects of university life. The primary focus of the ICT Office is to support academic activities, research initiatives, and community service efforts, enabling the university to achieve its goals through the efficient use of information and communication technologies. The office is committed to providing comprehensive and innovative technology solutions to enhance the university's academic and administrative functions, contributing to the overall development of the institution.

Roles and Responsibilities of the ICT Executive office

• Manage IT Infrastructure:Oversee network systems, servers, and hardware to ensure reliable operations.
• Support Academic Activities: Facilitate e-learning platforms, classroom technology, and academic software..
• Assist Research: Provide tools for data management, research computing, and collaboration.
• Develop Internal Systems: Create and maintain university software for administration and academic purposes.
• Ensure Cybersecurity: Protect university systems through firewalls, antivirus, and data privacy measures.
• Provide Technical Support: Offer helpdesk assistance and training for staff, faculty, and students.
• Ensure Disaster Recovery: Implement backup systems and a disaster recovery plan for data and operations continuity.
