Welcome to Salale University’s (SlU) Official Website,It is my great honor to serve as the President of Salale University, and I am deeply inspired to work alongside the dedicated and enthusiastic staff of our institution. I firmly believe that education is the most powerful tool to drive national progress and improve lives in all dimensions. It serves as the foundation for all forms of advancement, achievable only when access and equity are ensured.
With this vision, and guided by our motto, "Co-Creating Quality," Salale University was established in 2015 in Fiche town, North Showa Zone, Oromia Region, located 112 kilometers from Addis Ababa. Since its inception, SlU has been steadfastly committed to its three core missions: education, research, and community service. The University began its academic journey with nine undergraduate programs. Today, it offers more than thirty undergraduate programs, and we have finalized preparations to launch postgraduate programs in various fields by 2020. Our region, North Showa, widely known as "Salale" for historical reasons, is uniquely positioned, bordered by two major tributaries of the Nile River—Mogor and Jama—as well as the Nile itself. This area has attracted significant attention from researchers and academics due to its potential mineral resources.

Salale University Honors Stakeholders for Exemplary Contributions to Grade 12 National Examination Administration.
Salale University has recognized and honored examination coordinators, chiefs, supervisors, invigilators, and other stakeholders for their outstanding contributions to the successful administration of the ongoing Ethiopian Grade 12 Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (ESSLCE).
The recognition ceremony was organized following the successful completion of half of the examination period, as some invigilators and other stakeholders were preparing to conclude their duties and depart. The event aimed to appreciate their dedication, commitment, and valuable contributions to ensuring the smooth and effective administration of the examination.
Several examination coordinators and invigilators expressed their gratitude to Salale University for its strong institutional support, effective coordination, and continuous follow-up, which helped ensure that the examination was conducted peacefully, smoothly, and in accordance with the required standards.
Addressing the gathering, Salale University President Dr. Feyera Dinsa extended his sincere appreciation to all examination coordinators, chiefs, supervisors, invigilators, and other stakeholders for their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts throughout the examination process. Dr. Feyera emphasized that their collective commitment had been crucial to the successful administration of the national examination across all rounds and reaffirmed the University's appreciation for their invaluable contributions.
The examination process so far has demonstrated strong collaboration among stakeholders and a high level of institutional commitment toward the successful administration of the examination.
